Former Le Tonlé Student-Chimmor

My name is Chimmor. I was born in Stung Treng province and am a former Le Tonlé student. My life has changed a lot since I started working as a housekeeper at Le Tonlé. Now, I also work as the Restaurant Supervisor. During my time at Le Tonlé, I have tried my best to always work hard as part of the Le Tonlé team and I take my responsibilities seriously. Furthermore, I am happy to share my story with the students here – after a fight I was forced to quit school and was jailed for 2 years. I would like all the students to appreciate what they have and try hard to succeed.

Le Tonlé has changed my life and given me the chance to acquire new knowledge and skills for my future career. My goal is to study Business Management at university. The training program here was very good and led me and all the other trainees straight into a job.

I would like to thank Le Tonlé Center and Cambodia Rural Development Team for giving me the opportunity to change my life.
